School Challenge

Polar Plunge is a fun and exciting opportunity for your school to support Special Olympics Oregon athletes by getting your classmates to join you in plunging into icy Oregon waters in the height of winter.

We invite your school to create a team and join in the tradition!  Support a great cause and have fun with your peers in the process.  This is a great team-building or community service opportunity for students!

Now offering revenue sharing for schools teams!
School teams that raise $1,000 or more will receive 20% back!  Your school must notify Special Olympics Oregon if you want to participate in revenue sharing.  See Revenue Sharing Guidelines below for more details and qualification requirements. (Download the Guidelines Here)

Costumes are strongly encouraged!  Or show your school spirit and wear your schools colors.

Make sure to indicate that your team is part of a school when you sign up!  We want to know where you come from so we can recognize your incredible efforts!

Contests

Each Polar Plunge will recognize the K-12 school that :

·         Raises the most money
·         Has the most plungers on their team

The College/University that raises the most money in Oregon will receive special recognition.
